Description:
When using water immerse the stone for 1 to 3 minutes to allow the stone to soak up enough water. If used over a longer period you may need to add water to the stone to refresh. When using oil, apply a light grade machine oil on the surface occasionally during use to flush away abraded material and aid the lubrication process needed to create a cutting action on the item being sharpened.
